Guide index
Start with the job in front of you.
The library is organized by task, not by plugin screen. Every guide names the system boundary, a short workflow and the checks that close the task.

Review and synchronize the catalog
Discover your Shopify catalog, review the summary and start a manual synchronization, then check a first product.

Choose the canonical catalog surface
Decide whether WordPress or Shopify is primary, then align indexing, archives, sitemaps and structured output.
What you will do
Choose the main product page before enabling index controls. Keep thin tag archives disabled unless they are intentionally curated. Inspect canonicals, robots, XML sitemap inclusion and rendered schema on the public URL.

Diagnose connection and rendering failures
Separate Shopify access, WordPress HTTP, synchronization data and theme rendering before changing credentials or templates.
What you will do
Reproduce the failure and record the exact screen and version. Test outbound HTTPS and the public Storefront token independently. Inspect WordPress logs and rendered markup before retrying or escalating.

Handle tokens, packages and optional telemetry
Keep public and private credentials distinct, limit administrator access and understand optional Freemius data flow.
What you will do
Use only the public Storefront token requested by Fy2Press. Keep plugin ZIPs and test material outside the public web root. Review optional telemetry and licence activation before providing consent.

Reference all 27 public shortcodes
Use the exact public fy2press_* catalog, grouped by product, collection and filtering responsibility.
What you will do
Start with the complete product or collection shortcode when a composed default is sufficient. Use granular shortcodes only inside a context that provides the required product or collection. Validate the rendered page and the transition to Shopify before publishing.

Reference the 17 dynamic Gutenberg blocks
Map every registered server-rendered block to the catalog surface it controls.
What you will do
Insert the block from the Fy2Press category. Confirm that its product or collection context resolves in the editor preview. Preview the public page because editor registration does not prove theme-level output parity.

Read builder coverage without assuming parity
Separate conceptual component registration from controls, markup and runtime equivalence across Gutenberg, Elementor and WPBakery.
What you will do
Choose the builder that owns the page. Check whether the needed capability has a dedicated component or remains shortcode-only. Test the rendered output in that builder before claiming equivalence.

What FREE includes and what PRO adds
See which features come with the free plugin, which require PRO, and which are partial or not available in this version.
What you will do
Identify the capability by its stable authority ID. Confirm whether its state is delivered, partial or absent. Do not market a locked FREE preview as an active premium engine.

Understand data, credentials and external services
Trace what becomes WordPress content, what remains with Shopify and when Freemius receives optional licensing data.
What you will do
Use only the public Storefront token requested by Fy2Press. Keep customer, payment and checkout data in Shopify. Review optional Freemius opt-in or licence activation before providing consent.
